4.86 Release Date and Teaser

The Discovery FL development team are pleased to announce that Discovery Freelancer 4.86 – The Exiles will be released on the Dec 30 2011.

The development team including infocard writers, system coders, ship designers and testers have been and are still frantically busy completing the remaining tasks. We’re pushing hard and will do everything possible to hit this release date. In the last 2 months we’ve made awesome progress and we are excited share the first trailer.

Well, since our server had no more ressources to spare, our Freelancer-Server went down, and I not really missed it. But with 4.86, I will definitely get the game up again. That’s just WORTH it!

For windows 7, how primitive it may sound i manually installed the 4,85 and it worked!

Well, the multiplayer server now says people are playing a version called “48.60″, so I can’t connect with my 4.85 of course… but I can’t seem to find this 48.6 / 4.86 version to download anywhere either. Am I missing something?

(P.S. I hope this cloaking feature isn’t too overpowered. With so many systems, Sirius is lonely enough already – but will be even more so if everyone is invisible all the time…)
